As an ambassador of sound sensuality, Elena Denisova is one of the most charismatic personalities of the international violin elite. Denisova studied with Valery Klimov and Oleg Kagan and felt her calling as the meaning of life since childhood. Wherever she performs – with orchestras (including the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra London), as part of a concert series (including the Vienna Music Association) and festivals (including the Salzburg Festival), the press and audiences attest to her high level of musical maturity and absolutely individual interpretation. She founded the Classics Etcetera Music Association, the Gustav Mahler Ensemble, and since 2002 has been the artistic director of the WoertherSee Classics Festival, which she founded and which has also achieved a very high reputation internationally. For several years she has had a highly acclaimed collaboration with the string company PIRASTRO.
